Will be like going from the penthouse (G'town) to the outhouse for Clark. Local word has it that current Sr/Jr talent is so thin that he doesn't expect to really compete for at least two years. A once-strong Bartlett program has seen cross-town rival Bolton steadily improve at their expense the last 5 years, including 11 straight losses to Bolton. Munford will be the team to beat in the district, returning all but two players from a state tournament team last year. Germantown will be solid again, but may lose the top spot in their district to a Houston team that appears to have no weaknesses in their lineup and depth at pitching. Future success at Bartlett will rest on Clark's ability to keep the good players at home and effectively "encouraging" others to move (or transfer) there. He's done it before..... :o
