JCS/Adamsville?

I thought Adamsville was supposed to run away with the district championship this year, with Middleton being the only team to compete with them. However, I saw they were beaten by JCS Friday night. It looks like the district will be completely open this year. Any information or insight on the game, or the situation in the district this year, please respond.

Well Adamsville, Middleton, and JCS have now proved they can play. But, USJ played Middleton close(at Middleton) and barely escaped Fayette Academy with a win Friday. Would this not mean that the district is completely up for grabs this year. It doesn't really mean anything until tournament time anyway. Which will be held at Scotts Hill. Bobby Finley of Scotts Hill shoots well anywhere, but the whole team shoots lights out at home. Watch Scotts Hill come tournament time, at least through the district tournament.

i do not know much about JCS but as for Adamsville they are a team that plays very fundamentally sound and do not typically beat themselves. They should have the title this year in that district. Middleton is athletic but they don't play very fundamental so they tend to take themselves out of contention as the season continues. Scotts Hill should be competitive but they can't run with Adamsville or jump with Middleton. But no one knows what will happen at Tourney time!

JCS's crowd played a big role in their win friday night over Adamsville in Jackson, although, it wasn't the fans alone. JCS played outstanding defense in the second half allowing as few second shot opportunities as possible. Even though Adamsville is a very well-coached, fundamentally sound and talented team, JCS proved that they are ready to defend what could be district championship repeat and quite possibly farther than that. Look out west Tennessee, the Eagles are still a force to be reckoned with!
