New Rankings?

Does anyone know if the TennBest Weekly is coming out this week or is Rob skipping this week due to Christmas?

If you look at past years, Rob has skipped the week of Christmas. Makes sense since a lot of wrestling is not happening.

Hey, not to start any smack talking or anything, but i think mike marable beat blake luttrel (MBA) 7-1 at the McCallie tournament. I think that is a convincing victory. He should be the number one seed in D2 171.

We all know that the rankings are most subjective. Bradley Central has a great team but with them not wrestling at McCallie Inv. or Father Ryan Inv. it is difficult to know how good they really are.

I think Bradley's records speaks for itself.

The state is in 2 divisions and I thinks if that is the way it is going to be then the rankings should be the same way. Bradley is tops in their div. Again, (no suprise)

yes, they have a great record. but the question must be asked: WHO have they wrestled?

Since 1998(the last 5 years) they've wrestled everyone they had to and have won 4 traditional titles and 1 runner-up and 3 dual titles and 2 runner-up. I hope that answers your question.......

I also seem to recall during the same period they have won 5 Huntsville Invitational titles, 5 Bradley Invitational titles, 5 Cleveland Duals titles, went 3 and 2 one year in the VA Duals, won one Hoover Invitational title and one Brentwood Title (beating Top 20 ranked Mater Dei) and sent at least a dozen wrestles to college programs including Nebraska and Oklahome State.

 

It's a little early to tell how good they ARE but they have BEEN pretty good.

 

BC heads to Virginia next week. It should be interesting.
