Farragut's been on the rise the past few years and this is there break out season with the tandom of jake daddy $, big daddy frase, shake, tim the tickler, and greg lights out gibson........................YOU CAN'T STOP US

I'll give Farragut some props. They are a lot better than I expected them to be. I saw them play at William Blount (they defeated the Govs) and I was pretty impressed. The point guard Gibson (was he hurt last year? I don't remember him) played tough.

When Farragut played us I was very impressed with the Guard Gibson (maybe #12 is his #)I think is his name, other than that I was not impressed with the rest of the team. When it comes to tournament time I don't think they will go very far.

I'll say this ... they are in a pretty tough district. I'm excited about William Blount getting to host the district tournament this year. It should be a great one for boys.

 

Girls ... with the way Farragut is playing, everyone else might be playing for second place.

Tim Torrence is a good player for Farragut and as stated, Greg Gibson is very good. That's about all they have.

 

There is not a sufficient bench for them to go very far.

 

However.....I guess us Blount County Boys have got to give them props for coming over here and humbling WB and MHS.

 

HOWEVER.....We then went over there and beat them by 30.

Greg Gibson broke his arm during the FHS/William Blount Game in early February last year. He missed the remainder of the season, including the tournament. His arm has healed and he is having a good season.
