sls
Both have a lot of athletes. NS probably has more offense, but it looks to be at times for entertainment purposes and not getting the win. Not much effort on D. SS depends on defense, and their teamwork is better than NS. I am impressed with the 6'5" ? Chism kid from SS, he has improved greatlyin the last few weeks. A good summer of learning how to shoot with his rebounding and defense he will become a force. NS 74 - SS 71.

Guest KCB
Last nights rivalry game was as intense as usual. It took the Jackson South Side Hawks a full first half to shake the two week lay off funk, before giving the crowd the game they deserved. Out of all the Hawks losses (3) they have come down to the wire with an average deficit of 3 points. This team will be a force to be reckoned with when it learns how to manage tight game situations. (It is a very athletic and talented group of kids.)
sls
SS has a very tough schedule ahead, with Haywood tonight and Bolivar on tuesday. I was wondering. I have seen SS play 3 times this year. Against Mialn they played a 2-3 zone. Against Martin a 2-3 zone, and last night came out man to man. Whats up have they changed? NSIndiansFan
South Side is a really good defensive team. They can change up the defense they come out in. just like North Side. NS last night came out man but changed in the second half. SS just had two shooters last night in #22 and #33. North Side had all of their players hitting shots. NS could have easily blown this team away if they would have played better D in the first half. NS is really beginning to turn on the burners now that they are about to enter district play. Watch out for this team as tourney time comes around.
