BDURHAM
Does anyone know why Riverdale appears to be slipping so badly in a couple of games: Shelbyville and Coffee County? I know Shelbyville is strong, but according to the scores, Riverdale has gotten blown out a couple of times. Are the Warriors young? Are there injuries? Am I overstating the "blowouts?" gogold
It's called 3 tough district 8 teams. They have lost to Shelbyville and Lawrence Co. in the Deep South Classic and come back home to catch another bully from the same district. That's 3 pretty good teams. Shelbyville will blow out a lot of good teams, so no shame there. LCHS won by 9 and Coffee by about the same. I still think Riverdale has a very good shot at winning their district. They didn't play bad in their last 2 losses. You have to tip your hat because they're not ducking any teams. Some teams in the mid-state have great records but play no competition.
