What a game!!! This up coming Friday AC goes to Clinton for a cross town show down!!!! I think that this is goin to be a hard fougt game and a close game!! AC has really stepped up the last couple games with some great hussle and they are really showing that they want to win every single game. What do you guys think about the Friday match-up??????? :confused: :confused:

heat11, you're right. It is always a good game when those two squads meet. Clinton is said to have the upperhand because of their loads of talent, but I can assure that the Mavericks won't step down from the challenge. Does anyone know where it is going to be played? In this type of game, home court can mean a lot. Good luck to all the players and coaches, have a great game, it's going to fun to watch!!!

the mavericks are looking pretty good right now and with clinton coming off a big win over elizabethton i agree that its gonna be a big game between the two. the good thing about it though is that it doesnt mean anything district wise its just for bragging rights. im gonna go with ac by 10. go mavs!!!

How do you beat Elizabethton and loose to Central. You have the game coming up with Central this week so you think the Dragons can handle the mighty Bobcats this time. Talk in Ftn City is Central thinks they can win the region.

Central won't even win district. Powell has already beat them and will beat them again when they play. Central has yet to play Oak Ridge and more than likely they will get beat twice there. They might make it to region, but they have no chance of winning region.

I apologize I meant District. Yes they have been beaten by Powell but they beat the pre-season favorite to win the District in Clinton. After their big win over Clinton the coaches and players are saying they can win the District. Doesn't Clinton play them tonight? We will know after tonight if they are for real or if they are just all talk.

Unfortunately, Clinton is down to about 7-8 players due to circumstances. Their leading scorer Vibbert has transferred to Texas.

I've seen Vibbert play and that is a huge loss for Clinton. Iwas unaware that he had transferred. Wow, that really hurts them.

Well there is no way central wins the district and neither will clinton. Clinton is not well coached and you can tell this by losing a game to Central. To the big match up you gotta go with the team with the best coach which has to be Eldridge. Lockard has no discipline and never will, and i hate that cause he always has talent.
