Cumberland beats Rhea by 13

Cumberland county has the most heart of any team in the state, they rebound and beat a great Rhea Co. team after the disputed loss at Cleavland (Shafted)..... the fans are also the best in the state (the mountian maniacs)

the game was 73-63 cumberland played a great game and lead by 24 in 3qt rhea showed heart by cutting lead to 63-61 late in 4th before homer took over the jets did hit their ft's 26-29 and deserve the win and credit just to show how good conference is will be a great tournament

Hey JET2- I will agree that Cumberland plays with a lot of heart, and are a very good basketball team- BUT to say they got shafted at Cleveland might be a little overboard. Cumberland had 1 field goal in the 4th quarter out of their 22 points- 19 points came from the ft line. What's so bad is Cleveland was never trying to foul. The officials were bad for both teams, but if you score 19 of your 22 points from the free throw in the forth you are going to have a hard time convincing me that the Jets got shafted!

 

The Jets, however, almost one the Free throw shooting contest. Should be a good rematch in Crossville!

It was terrible for both sides, BUT calling a charge for a player that was almost behind the basket, with a minute left ..... thats INSANE
