In the tourney Fairview got 6th with only having 8 wrestlers our of 18 or 16 teams I think there was . We went home with 5 medals, two 1st and 3rd and one 4th. Now you have to give some respect to us for that !

Two questions...Can you explain the Davis Injury Default for the 189 Finals and why were there 6 forfeits in the Consolation Finals?

Cothran and Davis was a great match...the score was 10-19 when Cothran did a trip move on Davis and almost pinned Davis except Davis injured his knee and could not finish the match.Too bad for it was a physical match and that is what Cothran is best at.Davis is a great westlet with quick hands but tried to muscle Cothran and that was a mistake.Cothran also who was second seed was moved to thied seed behind the guy from Houston which Cothran destroyed being up by 8-0 then picking him up and tucking him in for the day.Look for Cothran to be in the running at the state.........

Unlike some polls, Silverbullet has had Cothran ranked since the first of the season. One of the contributors to our poll swears he is the man to beat at 189.

I think the match with davis was 12 0r 13 to 10 with davis in the lead. I am pretty sure but I might be wrong. Does anyone know for sure?

Davis was in the lead when the match got called. Davis was real upset and wanted to continue. They were neutral. His coach callled the match off, not him. It was a hard fought match by both of them, but Davis had gained the advantage and had the momemtum in the third period. He should be ok for state.

qitusome...you sure do talk Contran up a whole lot in every post where he can be talked about...infact thats the only person you talk about....any comments?...and why?..and to back westenwrestle up...it was 13-10 when davis went out
