Does anyone know what is Tennessee's fastest pin ever? I know that it is kept for the state tourney since it is in the program each year, but is it kept anywhere for the regular season?

James Turner holds the record at Smyrna High with a 4 sec pin.

A wrestler by the name on Von Ridenour has a 4 second pin. I believe the year was 1982 and Von was wrestling for William Blount High School. He was wrestling a guy with a very bad case of cauliflower ear, threw a head lock on the guy and the rest is history. At the time it tied a national record for fastest pin.

Last night at McCallie, Spencer Manley recorded a pin in either 4 or 5 seconds. I think that at least ties the record.

Dale Jeffries, Karns 112, pinned a Greeneville wrestler in December 1992 in 3 seconds. Dale went on to finish fifth in the 1993 State Tournament after losing to Chad Nikazy, Hendersonville, 10-6 in the semi-finals. Nikazy won the 112 championship 6-5 over David Levitt, McCallie
