When did the official season start?

If two teams are tied and split head-to-head, they might go to record against the top seed on down or just flip a coin. I don't think overall record figures into the equation, but I'm sure you can find out the answer on TSSAA.org

Thanks goosevol. I looked at TSSAA, but they don't have a link for basketball yet. I looked at the handbook, but don't see anything there either. Maybe I don't know where to look for it at their site. Thanks again. Maybe I'll just email them and see if they'll answer me.

Isn't that how everyone does it? If you win, it counts if you don't it doesn't. That's a standard rule!!! Any complete game where fans pay and officials are paid counts. Bottom Line.

OK, if you pay to get in, then the game counts - I don't think any officials work for free. Also, if the game is listed at the TSSAA site on your schedule, then it counts.

But here's the thing - you count the game whether you win or lose - no selective choosing of only the games you win.

I agree totally. The "count or not count" comment was for some of the fans and coaches in East Tennessee. They don't think Christmas Tournaments count. Unless you win, of course!
