When did the official season start?

A lot of teams are including Hall of Fame games in their records. Aren't these considered pre-season exhibition games? Didn't the official season start Monday 11-25-02 or am I missing something or just stupid? These games played before 11-25-02 seem to be inflating the records of some teams. Also some girls' teams include these games and the boys teams do not. Can anyone explain this to me?

11/25/02 was the official start date. Some teams have included it on their records because they were told they could. It doesn't really matter though, ya just subtract a win in most cases and that will tell you what the real record is. But not all teams have included it into their record.

The games in question are the Hall of Fame games. Games set by the TSSAA, sanctioned by TSSAA, played under TSSAA rules, officiated by TSSAA officials, and charged an entry fee under TSSAA rules. Now tell me why not count them?

Official---Everything about them was official.

Thanks for responding jacketpride24. You can have your two wins against Ravenwood & Creek Wood, two new schools with only freshmen & soph. players. Everyone who has looked at your schedule knows the truth. You only play 1-A & Div. II schools in your non-distict games. I can't wait to beat the Lady Yellowjackets tonight at Page. Have a nice day. :x

When district pairings for the tournament are set, if two teams have split during the season and their district record is the same, does their overall record determine their placement in the bracket? That's why I concerned about Hall of Fame games being included in the overall record. If the official season started Monday 11-25-03, then any games before that time should not count. This TSSAA policy of counting games if you want to is a inconsistant stance that I hope will be cleared up.
