7aa standings and mvp's

what do the standings look like in 7aa and who are contenders for mvp? besides mathis and meadows?

Here is how I have them so far for the boys.

 

Upperman

York

Livingston

Smith Co.

Cannon Co.

DeKalb Co.

Jackson Co.

 

On the MVP deal I would have to say Jamie Gurly from Livingston.

I doubt the MVP is going to go to a player from the last place team or to a player that has been suspended for half the district games. The Mvp will probally come from someone off York or Upperman. I would vote for Derrick Ledbetter from York or Mathis from Upperman. But after watching Sleeper keep Smith in the game and upset York sat. nite he to has to be a valid canidate. Because he is defintly all they have. So it looks like the district champ and Mvp is still very much open to anyone.

When has the MVP not come from the first place team? The district's Most Valuable Player will put his team in front of the others. That's why he is the MVP of the district.

My opinion. If a player leads his team to first in the district or a really good shot to win the district tournament, he should get the MVP award. I dont really think is should just go to someone because their team is first in the district. You have to look at their individual game most of all. As, for this thing with Gurely, If he is the best then he needs to get the award. It shouldnt matter if he got suspended or not. People make mistakes. What kind of people would WE be if we didnt forget about them?! Livingston only lost 1 district game without Gurley so you cant put too much blame on him.
