I expect to see great things from left-handed relief pitcher wylie jones of mba. he had some amazing finishes last season and this year he is bigger and stronger. he had most batters swinging hard at his killer curve balls but never able to connect. looks can be deceiving. dont count him out of the mix.

if vinnett, (ryan) can get an offspeed, he'll be a force. and another name for you....michael fisher, mba, just picked up the ball this summer and tried out pitching, and he is very good.looks like he's been on the mound since he was 6, with great high 80's velocity.

Wylie Jones isn't bigger, he might be a little stonger, but he certainly isn't bigger. and most likely he has sized down because of basketball anyways

you're right, wylie jones hasn't gotten any bigger, he's put on an inch or two but no weight. But his arm has gotten significantly stronger. i don't know how, but he doesn't have throw the slow junk anymore, i've seen him pitch the last few weeks and he's got some good, quick stuff. he should be a great closer again for us this year, being the only lefty in the rotation, and hemay even move up to starting a few games with pettus, fisher, or french closing for him.

Don't forget Kane Simmons. He has the most potential of any Baylor pitcher. He was pitching great at the end of fall baseball, the last time I saw him pitch.

as Pettus. Pettus has a good game once in a while.

We drilled him.

 

Compton is a real pitcher. We couldn't touch him.

i'm really sorry, but pete compton is not THAT great of a pitcher. all he has is a really long arm motion to deceive the hitter, THAT'S IT. scott pettus is far better. better fastball, curve, anything else...
