hiwasee...are all of these pitchers sophomores, i haven't heard of any of them, besides vinnet and burris?

i'm sorry, but scott pettus (mba) will dominate EVERY batter he faces. he's a very good pitcher, quite possibly the best in DII next year.

I agree that Scott Pettus (04) should be included.

I agree w/ all the West tennessee guys, but add one more, Blake Walpole, Harding(03), he is a really picther, this Harding team could be really good if Sam McCormack(05), Bartlett catcher, and Jimmy Washam(05), CBHS OF, had stayed. If Harding finds a good catcher to step up and help him, Walpole (and Cox) could lead Harding to some wins, but dont expect much out of a 8, 9, 10 grade led team!

I definetly think that Compton and Pettus are the best in the middle region. I hear a lot of talk about myers but when we played father ryan i dont remember him standing out. I dont even know if he pitched. What type of pitcher is he? cause i am sure he is good.

will is a very good pitcher. He is a big, tall pitcher, with a fastball that he throws hard enough to overpower the hitter and it tails quite a bit into righties, and has a very effective change to counter his velocity...you may stand in the dugout and watch him, and think that he's not throwin very hard, but when you get up to the plate, you are completely deceived, his fastball comes in very quick, which my whole MBA team was fooled by last year...i'm not sure if he throws a curve or not...but i would definitely cosider him one of the best pitchers in the region and all of DII
