Which area of the state has the strongest softball programs?

you may have not been around in the past, but of the

championships awarded each year, middle tn teams win about

half or more each year. after that, chattanooga area teams win their share. other than that, west tn and east tn only

occasionally win a state championship, although unicoi won

one last year, so historically middle tn teams have been

the strongest, hands down.

I agree with FP. Middle TN teams have been dominant in the past. They have won the past 2 state championships, Beech the year before than Dickson County this past year.

When you think of AA softball, you have to start with Gibbs out of Knoxville. They have more state championships to their credit in AA softball than any team from the middle or west. I have plenty of scars to prove it.

I think it goes to show, that there are alot of great tradition rich programs in our great state of Tennessee.
