NightStalker
Fater Ryan is definitely the team to beat!
chippermha
in the west i think the battle for 1st place is going to be between cbhs and ecs......both with great pitching staffs but for 3rd i thinks gonna be between harding and briarcrest but unless briarcrests hitting has gotten a 100% better then we got b/c we owned them last year but who know we will just to have to wait and see...... 1. ECS 2. CBHS 3. Harding
GaryKnows
Father Ryan is going to breeze through competition. MBA is always overrated and their pitching staff is way overrated. Father Ryan has the best pitching staff this side of the Mississippi River. Jake Kacyznski is back joining the best pitcher in the East- Will Myers. Smooth Lefty Ryan Nichting is very tough, Chad Wilgenbusch will make you cry like a baby and Jimmy Vinett will close games with ease. Don't even get me started on their batting lineup. They are freakin loaded.
BigRed3
Gary, who's gunna get you out of jams if you don't have mullins.
GaryKnows
Take your pick: Myers, Wilgenbusch, Kacynzski, Nichting, Vinett. Pick your poison. Personally I would go with Wilgenbusch. His curve-ball is unreal. It reminds of this kid who was the closer for the former Nashville Mets franchise. That was 4 years ago and this kid's curve ball would go at your head and drop at your feet. Absolutely unreal. Never did find out what happened to that kid but I will tell you one thing, if I was a betting man and I needed to get myself out of a 1-out, men on 2nd and 3rd with the Cleanup batter up, I would definitely call upon Wilgenbusch. Why? Because he is just that darn good. Excuse me, Great.
dpg123
Hey Gary, I'm pretty sure that that pitcher for the Mets is probably bagging groceries somewhere now--i saw him play and that description was a heck of an exaggeration. I agree that FR has a good staff, but there are a multitude of great pitching staffs in d2 this year. it's gonna be very interesting to see how everythign works out. Kerr288
Actually dpg, the pitcher you are referring is not working at a grocery store. In fact, he is now the closer for CalState-Fullerton. He is only a freshman too! He got his fastball into the upper 90s and his curveball is the same as I last saw it.... INCREDIBLE! I'll keep you updated on his greatness. dpg123
hey kerr, it seems as if you, gary, hawkspg31, and court technician all usually have the EXACT same comments about everything. Do u happen to have the name of that guy that pitched for the mets? i'm sure he's on the cal-state fullerton roster if he's so great. talk to you later. Kerr288
Hey dpg, just cause the truth hurts doesn't mean you have to get all offensive. I respect what the garyknows, hawks, and court(sp?) have to say. But if you wanna go cry about being a baby who can't handle losing to your friend in the 3rd grade, then i suggest you stay off message boards. I also respect whatever anyone else has to say whether its bigred03. I understand that it is weird sometimes for people to have the same opinion(God forbid) and people have the same stuff in common. But as for you, get a life you loser.
