Great point about Renfoe's game. He stepped it up this time around. He is deceptively strong, and Lipscomb failed to block him out. Again, a great team effort by HF.

 

For the record, Lipscomb's starters that fouled out were Eatherly, Connor, and Wood. Hopkins was the sub that fouled out.

 

If each team continues to play to their potential, they may get to see each other again in the district tournament.

Hey Winner dont forget Alan Eatherly for Lipscomb. And in regards to Renfroe: The kid is small and skinny...but he gets so many rebounds and plays very tough D. He has improved so much from last year that he doesnt even seem like the same player. He has taken a lot of pressure of of Brandon.

Renfroe is obviously looked over because no one knows who he is. He is a great player that takes opposing teams by surprise. He is Hume Foggs secret weapon. He crashes the boards to pick up offensive rebounds. Of the couple of games i have been to i have seen no one that can stop him. The bad thing for his team is that he doesnt shoot too many times. I havent seen him take over 11-14 shots. In order for hume fogg to win some quality games Renfroe needs to shoot the ball more. Not to mention his defense. He made a couple of key steals in the Lipscomb game. He scored some where near 6 or 8 points in a row that really sparked his team. He was without a doubt the MVP of that game.

BUt overall Hume Fogg is a force to be reckoned with. THey have all the necessary things except they need some of their big men to step up including the near 7 foot big man. I will make it a point to make it to some more of their games.

By the way is he a junior or a senior?

Is he on the top 100 senior list or junior list?

Alex is a junior, and i dont think he is on any Top 100 lists.

There is no way this kid is not on the top 100 list. He is very explosive and exciting to watch. He needs to be put on the list. THanks for the info Fridge
