What do you think will happen? I think Gibson COunty is playing the best right now, Westview and Obion County are struggling to the finish line. Who will win the 4-5 game to go to the region between Dyer County and Crockett County???

I think Crockett. Seat's having to play dragging that brace around and DC will have some trouble stopping Crockett's quickness to the basket. May come down to who is in the least amount of foul trouble.

I wouldn't count Dyer Co. out just yet......I think they have improved in the last month and are playing alot better. They played Obion to a six point game at "the barn", as WesCharge calls it, after falling behind 19-4. It should be a good game. Good Luck to both teams....

I thought GC had been playing pretty well, but they struggled with South Fulton last night. Next week will be rough - Obion Co on Tuesday and Chester Co on Friday - both away. We need Baird to put up some big numbers in the big games. I think she only had 4 and 8 against OC and Westview. The tournament should be great!

 

What about the other district? Who are the top teams there?

the other district doesn't even compare, our top 3 will easily beat there #2-3-4, our #4 will give there top seed a good game.

And once again I raise the spectre of how it's advantageous to finish 2nd in the District Toruney. That throws the other two powerhouses into the same bracket and asks you to simply beat Brighton for a trip to the sub-state. Only in Tennessee's money-driven playoff system can you benefit by losing! Just ask Dale Hollowell if 1st is not always best.
