Coleman lost to both the second(Corey Manson) and fourth(Michael White) place finishers in D2 earlier this season. My pick Dunning dec. Coleman.

Gooden was destroyed by Hiller in the Father Ryan finals, however he did have a dominating match against Simpson in the semis.

My pick Hiller dec. Gooden / Hiller pin Ibrahim.

Silberman defeated Bird with ease in the McCallie Tourny. And he ended up taking it too easy as he let an 8-2 lead suddenly turn into 8-7 as he quit wrestling with 30 seconds left.

My pick Silberman dec. Bird.

Freel lost to both the second(Blake Goodman) place finisher and Greenwood in the Father Ryan Tourny.

My pick Greenwood dec. Freel.

Evans took third at the Father Ryan Tourny where he lost to Periera from Faragut. And then Periera lost to Thornhill in the finals. Although I think Evans looked a lot tougher than Thornhill at the State Tourny.

My pick Evans dec. Thornhill (I know it is the same as yours but it could go either way, if they had wrestled this past weekend Evans wins no question)

Final Score: D2-25 D1-21 (With Gooden at 112)

Final Score: D2-28 D1-21 (With Ibrahim at 112)

What makes you think that hiller will pin ibrahim? Both are great wrestlers, with hiller winning 3-1 last year. He always improves a bunch with every year-this is his only third year of ever wrestling. He would have definately beat gooden this year, if he passed speroff. Ibrahim vs. Hiller would be a great match. :D:rolleyes:

    • Playing high school sports is a privilege not a right.  The college did not have to rescind the scholarship.  Scholarship offers are pulled all the time for a number of reasons. That was 100% their choice.  A coach can keep, cut, or dismiss any player that they want to without reason anytime they want.  Is that the right way to run a program?? I don't think that it is, but these are the facts of the matter. This case has absolutely 0% chance of going in the plaintiff's favor. Futhermore, I'd imagine that these administrators and the coach are a part of some teaching or coaching organization that will cover at least 1 million dollars each in legal fees. Obviously the kid and her family feel like there were "damages" thus the lawsuit.  Unfortunately, the law is not on their side in this case.
    • Maryville will recapture the loses from last year against West, Bradley and Farragut. The Bearden game will be the tough one but I look for the wheels to come off that ride somewhere down the road because of all the crap that goes on there. I know to many parents there and some of the things I've been told and some of the post a few of them have made on facebook. They all can't be liars.
    • If Heritage moves down and Alcoa moves up the best thing for Heritage is to do what William Blount did when theystopped playing Maryville or meet certain defeat. Honestly can't see Alcoa not moving up the way the county is growing. Might be in the Mountaineers best interest to stay in 5A because none of those teams on their schedule are anything close to Alcoa.
    • I say over as well. Barney, regarding the move to 4A, will the cross-town blowhards move up as well??
