Can anyone tell me the updates tourney schedule? I cant find a schedule anywhere. When and who will Waverly be playing?

Waverly will be playing the winner of Montgomery Central and Harpeth(play tonight) Friday. Then championship and consolation games are being held Saturday.

Sycamore will pound Cheatham as usual,Nothing new here. When was the last time Cheatham had a winning season in any boys sport? Waverly will easily defeat Mont. Central and meet Sycamore in the finals. Should be a great game. I'll pick Sycamore by.....8.

Well as of right now, Cheatham's record is 13-12 if you count the district tourney game against Creekwood. I just have a feeling that Cheatham is gonna upset Sycamore in this one.

But if they don't then their record will be 13-13, having to play a #1 seed in the region tourney, probably Giles.

13-14 at best.

well sugar would you rather be 13-14, possibly better, and making it to regionals or be 1-27? iD say thats a heck of a turn around no matter which way you look at it!

You were comparing this years team with the great Waverly teams of the 80's. As much as I love this years team, there is no comparison. The team of the 80's was a whole lot better. You are correct in they started a lineup that went 6'11", 6'6", 6'5", 6'4", 6'3" and brought Todd Milholland at 6'10" off the bench. They also had great depth with at least 4 other guys over 6'4" on the bench. They didn't use there depth like they probably should have. That team had it all (size, speed, quickness) and if not mistaken finished something like 34-2 while playing a murderous schedule. However, they will always be remembered for being upset by Goodpasture in the region in one of the most stunning upsets. It's hard to imagine a better Waverly team except maybe the 1998 team that made it to the state semifinals. That was one of the most athletic teams ever. It just goes to show you come tournament time the best team doesn't always win, it takes a little luck along the way as well. However, I like the chance of this years team to make some noise.
