Whats it looking like in 8aaa this year? I would like someone or different people to give a report on team they know about. As far as Lincoln County i see more depth in pitching than ever before, should be solid on defense, hitting could be a mystery but do have a few good bats for sure. Look for them to have a great year but who can really tell right now with this weather.

columbia should have a good team this year and win district if they play together. they have a solid rotation with Zack Gray(TN tech signee)leading the way. the hitting will be good as well with most of the pop in the lineup back this year. defense is just as solid as ever. this is the team to watch in 8aaa. :o

As stated before Columbia is my pick for #1 but Tullahoma has a interesting team this year with 8 seniors and a good player that moved in.These 2 teams are a small notch above the rest in my opinion. Franklin Co. & Lincon Co. will fight out the 3 & 4 spot with Shelbyville, Coffee Co. & Lawrence Co. fighting out the bottom 3 spots. Coffee Co. will have a improved team with Shelbyville & Lawrence in a rebuilding year. When the tournament rolls around it will be whoever is hot and a surprise team will upset a top team.Anything can happen in district 8-aaa!

Columbia is going to have one of there strongest teams than they had in few years. Returning there big guns from last year in Zach Gray(P)TN TECH signee,Bobby Bratton,Courtney English, and Grant Nickell, they are looking pretty good. Courtney, ranked 8th in the state out of outfielders, will hold down the lead-off spot and CF. Zach and Bobby are going to be the two aces of the pitching staff. Grant is going to hold it down in the four hole and he can absolutely crush the ball! Theses guys have a good supporting cast in Josh Oliver and Andrew Lurther(pitching) Jay Poling and Michael Kinnard will swing the bat good this year. The thing that may hurt them in the beginning is they are going to be without Courtney for maybe their first 3 or for games because of basketball and people are picking basketball team to go to the state. Once they get everyone there, they will be a team to watch. Don't forget about Tullahoma. They have a strong team as well! :)
