One of the three regions tournaments was completed tonight. So help me set up the Sectional Tournament as results come in. It will be held Mar. 7 and 8 at David Lipscomb University in Nashville. Father Ryan will be the #1 seed from the Middle Region, Brentwood Academy will be the #2 seed from the Middle, and BGA will be the #3 seed from the Middle. Notre Dame and McCallie will advance to sectionals from the East. They'll play for seeding tomorrow at Knoxville Catholic. Either Lausanne or Briarcrest will get the #1 seed from the West, with the other getting #2, game tommorow. The winner of the Harding/Bishop Byrne game will secure the final spot in sectionals in tomorrow's game. Please add any results as they come in or make predictions. Does anyone have the Sectionals bracket? Good luck to all these teams.

GO LIONS!!!

Basically, here is how it works.

There are six possible brackets that have been drawn up by the TSSAA for the sectionals. Once a bracket is drawn it cannot be used and it is "thrown out" until all six have been used up -and then all six are put back in the hat. So, this the sixth year coming up. If somebody can go back to the previous 5 they should be able to tell what the sectional pairing will be by process of elimination. Boys are drawn separate from girls

Gasol has to get faster, but he is dominate in D2 west, because nobody has any tall people. I was impressed by their role players, #21, # 23, and a couple others. They all can shot the three. We (Harding) are sorry we didnt beat em for you. But we had our chance w/ one second left w/ a wide open layup. So yes they are beatable, but yes they are REALLY good!
