Some of these postivgs are outrageous for these so-called "grown" men. Whoever gets thew job, be happy. It will most definitely boost the competitin if Smith could pull off at Stratford what he did at Ezell. Then what would Metro coaches have to complain about? Problem is, Metro teams are not competing at the level of other teams. In order for this to happen, the bar must be raised and everyone must jump. There is only one Metro coach who can say that he has been to the promised land of high school football. Stiffen the competition, lets see who will respond.

an even better title for the book my be, "Three yards and a cloud of dust: the life and times of a diabetic coach"

 

the story begins with our hero, a poor cuban boy who swam to America to realize his dream of becoming a porn star, using the name "bucknaked" in the bright lights of New York only to realize that being such star required nudity, dreams dashed the young man moved to nashville and was adopted by a poor farmer and his wife, going now by the name of pepe, this young cuban/American boy found another dream...the most American game of football, while a horrible athlete, pepe studied this strange and brutal game and realized that he would someday no matter what the cost become a football.......
