Lausanne vs McCallie & Notre Dame vs Brentwood

What are everyone's predictions and thoughts about these matchups?

When are these games and when is the championship?

 

I'd love to see a McCallie-ND championship game. It would definately be intense, but I think it's probably more likely for McCallie to get by Lausanne then ND get by BA...

So are these the official matchups? They weren't posted on the tssaa website as of an hour ago. Where did you find out?

I am assuming these are going to be the matchups because they aren't likely to matchup the two number one teams which are Laussane and ND. I also read on tssaa website that #1 and #2 seeds from same region have to be on opposite sides of the bracket.

if those are the matchups (ND-BA) ( McCallie-LUS) ya id say mccallie has alot better chance of winning....BA is tough..but ND is the best team of these 4....I hope to see ND against McCallie...but I wish they were playing Luasanne because I wouldnt mind seeing ND againt BA for the championship...Good Luck to all!

The only thing we know for sure is that ND can't play McCallie in the semis. Other than that, it's supposed to be random. I gree that the most "fair" way to do it would be for the lower ranked teams in their region to have to play the higher ranked teams in another. In that case, Lausanne should play McCallie, and BA play ND. We'll see. Still anybody's tournament to win, in my opinion.

 

I can't make objective picks in this, because I have too strong a rooting interest.

CORRECT. THESE ARE NOT THE MATCHUPS. Seeding, ranks, and everything are thrown out. The only stipulation is that two regional teams can't be paired up. Other than that, the bracket is a comppletely random drawing. Now when the TSSAA is going to do this is what I want to know.

TSSAA website says that the DII semifinals are on Thursday, March 20, but I've also heard that they are on Friday the 21st. Not that the TSSAA would ever make a mistake regarding DII , but does anyone know 100% absolutely for sure when they are?

I thought semis were on Thursday. I checked McCallie's website. If they are correct, the TSSAA is just lazy and not telling us on its website. Otherwise I think maybe McCallie is jumping to conclusions because of seeding.
