Harriman Baseball Doing Well

Harriman is young team with only 2 seniors this year. They have had an excellent start, playing 4 games this week, and only allowing one run. They themselves scored 54 runs combined in the 4 games. Beating Midway twice--13 to 1 and 23 to 0, beating Oliver Springs 8 to 0 and beating Sale Creek 10 to 0 also. Looks like we may have a good year after all critics !!

don't count your chicken's before they hatch. you still got your district play....and especially the way this district has stepped up the past couple of years it's going to be hard for any team in the district to win. there is going to be some good district games this year. better watch out for that wartburg team this year i wouldn't be surprised to see them back in the mix of things again. and of course you better watch out for that rockwood team...they are doing very well right now and if it continues it only spells trouble in the district for harriman. for any other team for that matter.

Harriman scrimmaged Halls before the season began and without their basketball boys. I heard that Halls was ranked 10th in the state AAA and Harriman was only beaten 9 - 8. I agreed Rockwood is a great team and I also believe that Wartburg will be in the mix of things, especially because of their pitcher Daniel Morgan. But... don't count Harriman out. Yes, they are very young, but this only means great thins to come. Just wait and see.

i agree with you the talent that harriman has i wouldn't be surprised to really see them come up in about 2 years whent hey have more experience under their belt. i wouldn't be surprised to see them go to state in a couple of years....

We played Harriman last year, they are well coached and should do great this year.

How is Harriman's pitching doing? Who is getting many innings other than Smith? Good luck, at least till ya play Rockwood.

Smith only pitched one inning the first week. Lamance, Dishman, Hampton, and Eble pitched. We havent had district play yet im sure Smith will come along then
