Bearden Vs. Farragut

No, I am not in high school and yes, I do know a great deal about both Bearden and Farragut and many of the key players. Been watching them for years; know many of them personally.

How do u guys feel about the experience of the coachs, and will it effect the outcome of the game?

Good question. Turner has demonstrated the ability to prepare and get his guys up for big games. He excels in designing set plays, which is how he beat Farragut last year. Wallie Culbreth at Farragut has an extensive history in club ball but this is only his second year coaching high school. He is older and considerably more mature and reserve than Turner and has a good grasp of motivational and team-building skills, something the previous coach lacked. Coaching experience should be a non-factor. Both teams should be well-prepared.

WHAT A JOKE- i dont know if u saw the first bearden-Farragut game last year, but without him bearden would have lost!! he scored 2 goals with 5 minutes left to win the game for bearden(3-2).. what a joke .. or even in the state finals.. who scored the game winning goal to give bearden a 2nd state championship and a #1 ranking in the nation.. what a joke.. don't even get me started on his throw-ins!!!!!

Yeah, yeah, Britton is a fine athlete, but only a so-so soccer player. He can generate nothing on his own. His throw-ins go a country mile but that is about that only thing in which he has any advantage. Herbstrit, Upshaw, and Radcliffe are all bigger threats. But since you're on last year's Bearden-Farragut game, how about explaining HOW Bearden scored 4 minutes after the game SHOULD have been over and WHY the center ref has since been blackballed.

Every team gets to black ball one ref, so farragut chose to black ball him. Bearden also has a ref they black ball every year. Big deal.

The only big deal is that he single-handedly kept your win streak intact. You know it, I know it, and everybody there knows it.

Urrm, I'd like to say as well that britton is overrated and the only thing he can really do is throw-ins. He won't be much of a threat, though he may help bearden a little. Not much of a "Secret Weapon" if you ask me. Not a secret, not a weapon.
