The Jones kid is good but when it come to the big game he doesn't perform like he should. I don't think he could hang at Maryville, because the athletes are so much better. If the Jones kids want to play better football he should go to Cookeville. I know there not much better but they do play better teams than Monterey does. Someone in the community has told me that Jones isn't going no were, so we don't have to worry about that any more.

Has Monterey hired a coach yet? I heard on the grapvine that it may be a done deal by tonight or tomorrow. Any information?

Word is that Coach Greg Brewer has accepted the job and that he will be in Monterey tomorrow.

 

Great Choice and they will be very pleased with their decision.
