Soccer on Football fields III

If kick-ball is the most popular sport in the history of all sports, as most kick-ball people like to claim, then why aren't there hundreds or thousands of people who want to watch a kick-ball match? Until there is real interest in the sport, the school boards are not going to fund a kick-ball field. Until a kick-ball team can make any money at all, they can't afford one, much less pay for the up-keep of the football field. So arguing for separate facilities is a waste of time. I say, let 'em play in the parking lot.

i'm glad close minded people like you aren't seated in a seat of higher power to make decisions on high school sports. how dare you show disrespect to the game that brings in more money, more viewers, and more players globally than football.it's not kickball either it's soccer and soccer will not make money in TN unless there is a developed youth league with support of the city parks and rec. dept.. soccer will never be able to pay back football for the use of its field so stop complaining and help.

What football needs to realize is that they DO NOT OWN THE FIELD, it is an athletic facility to be used by all students as needed. Soccer has been around for long time in the world, now catching in Europe where they play football in the soccer fields of pro teams that are not complaining. Grow up and start sharing, if the coaches work together it will be fine, you have all summer to recover from the spring soccer, it will not take that long to make the field look good. Football is good for the fans but not that good for the field, if people could understand soccer and its rules they will like it more than bunch of fat guys running around the field tackling eachother on the ground. They are also wearing tight outfits looking like fa*s. Come on people give soccer a change is a lot more interesting than you think.

People in education generally want what is best for students. Although soccer is not the most popular sport it gives kids an opportunity to be part of a positive activity. And this day and time when we can give young people a chance to be a part of a school sponsored activity all educators should be happy. People who really care about young people would never even think about throwing them out on the street because they are not self sufficient. People who really care about young people would rejoice the fact that 18 young men and 18 young ladies are involved in a positive after school activity. Football, basketball, track , volleyball, soccer are very important to the young people who participate in these sports It is our responsibility as caring adults, coaches, parents, teachers, administrators to give these young people the best possible facility we can. If it is the school athletic field that has to be shared by band, soccer, Lacrosse, football, or P.E. class people who really care about young should be happy that we have children who are eager to take part in any of these activities and willing share the field as well as share the maintenance of the field. But people who don't care about all the students say throw them on the street, have them play in the parking lot, or some cow pasture where the risk of injury increases. So if you are an educator lets work together for the betterment of all the student athletes in the school. :D:D:D
