Eagleville Coach Resigns!!

Eagleville Head coach Michael McClaran resigned this afternoon from head coach of the girls basketball team. After taking his team to top levels in the District and Region tournaments for 3-years he decided to lay his belt down.

This was a totaly shock to many people. I guess theres a coaching position open now! Good luck Coach McClaran in all you do!! you are a great Person!

This has got to be b.s. He is an Eagleville guy thru and thru no way he resigned. If he did then EHS lost a good one. I'll let you know in the morning. Leader10 are you a current player???? I hope this is false crap like all the others... Sarah Carper etc...

No, I am not a "current player" but i am very close to a "current player" and she called me and filled me in, she was actually VERY MUCH upset. So, my post is very much accurate. I would not post something i wasn't 100% about. So no BS'n here!

This is all such a big shock. He is young and not married so is he just burnt out or is he quitting teaching as well?

This maybe a job McCrary would return for. He and Coach Pate go back a while. Would be a good choice. However, Houston to Eagleville seems like a step down.
