Yeah they are really tough.

6'9" center auri allen. Big with soft hands and soft touch

PF- guy with shaggy hair provides rebounding and athleticism 6'

SF- Unbeliavable athlete. scorer. quick strong slasher with good ups 6'

SG- fastest player on team. best defender at age 13 i have seen. solid shot can get to rim when he looks 5'10"

PG- Really good ballhandler. strong. shows leadership. distributes well. 5'9"

i totally agree with ouch. The williamson county wildcats are a incredible team to beat. I was very impressed with the play of their shooting guard.His height goes very well with his ability to shoot from 3 point range.No doubtedly a starter.

Heres a question for ouch. What do you think of the play of the Nike Select 13u. I know they cant compare to their predecessors,but do you think they will go far in Nationals and who do you think is the keyplayer on the team?

Well, i don't think anyone can compare with the 14u nike so dont hold that against the 13u team. They have a strong line-up with a solid point guard, a beast inside, a shooting guard who can shoot, and a tall very skinny small forward who can post up smaller guards, hit the j, and loves creating for teamates and dropping off beautiful passes. Could very well make some noise. Strong 3point shooters.

I have seen the future play one game. If they played the wildcats, I never heard about it, so i don't know about that. They have a big strong boy down low who completely dominates the paint and a forward/guard who seems to score at will. They have a pretty athletic team, but i think the best thing about them is the way the get after u and every loose ball.

The 13/U Nike Select team is very lucky to have the

14/U Nike Select team to scrimmage against. It can't

get much better than that for the 13 year olds. The

13/U Nike Select team is looking forward to their

substate.

      Richland plays at McKenzie on Wed.  Should be a good series.  Does Richland have good pitching?

      Congratulations to the Warrior baseball team winning the Region Championship.  Last night the football team beat Franklin Co 33-0 in their spring scrimmage. Warriors looked very good. Missing a few players who were playing baseball but still absolutely dominated. A lot of young ones got in halfway through the 3rd when the score reached 33-0. QB Tilton Pickett looked very sharp.  Sam Pickett is on another level this season. Seems to have put on 15 to 20 lbs in the off season and added a step as well. Transfer from last year Williamson caught numerous balls and is very elusive. Lots of athletes on this team. Defense was smothering and will only get better. The head coach from Sewanee was in attendance and offered 2 kids after the game. Could be a special year.
