Predictions for AAA state

What do people have to say about the AAA state tournament at the end of May down in Memphis. What teams have a chance to win it all?

I'm pretty sure that the Admirals of Farragut have a remote chance of winning it all. They have a decent record with some pretty decent athletes. Expect them to maybe make a stir in Memphis.

Right now, the way Farragut is playing, everyone else is seemingly playing for second place. The bats, all 1-9, are dangerous. Opposing pitchers get no break against this team. The Admiral pitching staff is unbelievable as well. If Cobb, Kelly, Waldrop, Sherrard, or even Reagan starts, other teams will MOST likely not score more than 3 runs, if even that. Then Hahn can come in to wrap things up and secure any victory for the Admirals. You never know what can happen come tourney time, but as of now I like how Farragut is playing.

Well...It is hard to predict who will be there in the end some teams peek early and some teams peek going into the tournament and play their best ball then and surprise people. But no matter the case anybody can beat anybody on anyday...just ask, i am sure i can give you a couple of cases. This is not a game that is won on paper, you have to actually go between the lines and take care of business. So people might say who they think will be there but we wont know until games are all played in the next few weeks who will still be standing

There are several teams that will give Farragut a tough time. Clarksville High is a very good, solid team and dont forget Riverdale as well as a few others. All I know is there is going to be some great match-ups.

i agree riverdale is good, they had a strong showing at the Sports Belle, didnt they get out of their pool, or not?

In a classic pitching duel at Lindsay Nelson Stadium late Friday night Mt. Juliet scored 2 runs on 2 hits to Riverdale's 1 run on 2 hits. Mt. Juliet went 3-0 in pool play to Riverdale's 2-1.

Coffee County looks ready to clinch district 8-AAA so you have to consider them for state as well. They may be a long shot but i wouldn't count them out.
