Jackson Northside started the season off very well beating germantown opening night then beating CBHS twice and jcs. But then they could a hitting slump that tore the team down for a about two weaks which they lost to houston(4-2),Briarcrest(10-3),Munford(5-1 and 8-3), and also Davidson Academy,Mt.Juliet,Hendersonville,and a very hot Oakland team. But in the last two or three weeks they have bounced back and are averaging about 8 or 9 runs a game. Which they have won 9 in a row. Winning all 4 district games, beating Bolton(8-1), Bartlett(5-1 and 12-6),USJ(12-3) and today(April 26) going to Germantown and beating them 7-5. So i think that Northside has a very good chance of competing for the state championship.
