Has 3 homeruns including a grand slam against William Blount ace Reid Davis. Tanner Hiles - OF/3B/1B/P. Has 2 homeruns and a fastball that has been clocked at 90. Homerun against South Doyle was game winner. Adam Snyder - P/Inf/OF. 4-2 record with losses to Farragut and William Blount. Mid 80s/3-1 strikeout to walks. FightinAnchor15
Once again i would like to refer everybody to the News Sentinel earlier this week and look at the front page and find the name Delmonico. No its not Rod like some of you might think it is Tony(Rods son). Some might say the recognition comes from who his dad is. Well that can be debated, but if you came to watch him play you would know why he is really on the front page. Batting over .400 and incredible at shortstop. So come out to see Farragut play and keep an eye on #24 you would never believe this is his first year starting or the fact that the kid is a freshman. bizazz
No doubt about Tony. I'm not that familiar with who is a "first year starter" at other schools. Another good freshman is Zach Helton. Being Todd Helton's first cousin, he comes from pretty good "genetics" himself.
CoachLogan74
also check out Ryan Cooper from CAK. While only on a 3-A team this kid is very good and has adjusted to high school baseball very well with a batting average over .500 and he is also very good shortstop.
