Lets hear your predictions and tell us why keep it positive. I have seen every team except Mid State Ballerz and they are all good. Four of the teams that have qualified for AAU state will be participating.

Wildcats- fast , big and strong

Future- Quick, fast

shooting stars-plays well together

Ballerz- well coached, talented

Nike- Big , shoots well, multi def.

 

Some of the top players in the state on this level. It comes down to this , who wants it and how bad. A great tune up for the aau 13u state.

Who will win it? Wildcats! Why? Because they are handsome, smart, quick, and debonair!

I REALLY THINK THIS IS THE BEST TOURNAMENT FOR THE YEAR. THE BEST TEAMS IN THE AREA ARE GOING TO BE THERE.. ITS PUT UP OR SHUT-UP AT THIS ONE. ALL THE TEAMS THERE ARE CAPABLE OF WINNING THIS TOURNAMENT. THIS HOW I SEE THEM .....-FUTURE-, WILDCATS, BALLERS, NIKE. SO LACE YOUR SHOES UP TIGHT, ITS GOING TO BE A WILD RIDE.....

The team that plays the best defense will win this tournment. I have seen 4 of the 5 teams and they all have athletes. Point guards are also a key. Most of the point guards on these teams can not use their left hand or keep their heads up and against good defense that is a problem. Also from my observation the best point guards are some of the kids not playing point. This will be a fun one.

Seen Mid-State Ballerz play and yes they are packed with talent. They love to run and get up in your face type defense. This team doesn't have the ripley type kid inside, but has size and strength inside. Has great guards that use both hands well and love taken it to the rim. Will not quit and don't let there size fool you. Mid-State has a chance to win like all these teams and the key will be defense and Nike Select loves to play defense. Mid-State will make a mark sooner or later. Hope they come to play cause all five teams will be tested one way or another.

This should be the best 13u tournament for the midstate this year. Who knows what team will take this one, but it is going to be one heck of a weekend for 13u basketball!! I think it is so exciting to see this many guality teams coming out of the midstate. If this area continues building its organizations, we will give Memphis a great run at it all!!

Without Macadoo Nike first fell to the shooting stars by about 20 and then to the Wildcats by 40. The WIldcats showed off 2new players, both big men. The WIldcats, Future, and Shooting Stars are undefeated so far.

It was disappointing to see the Nike team without McAdoo and the Williams kid. The Future hustled from start to finish and was suffocating on the press. The Wildcats shooting percentage was very good for the night. The Ballerz are quick and have a post that has probably been underestimated. #34 for the Shooting Stars was definitely "the man". The games were clearly won tonight....no squabbling about the refs!!!

After 2 days of basketball, the better team are starting to stand out. The Wildcats are undefeated and have had no game closer than 12points. The Shooting Stars have played well going 2 and 2, but playing every team pretty close. The Future are 3 and 1. Their only loss was a 27point defeat by the Wildcats. They exscaped nike with a 2 point win. Nike is 1 and 3. However 2 of their losses came when Mike Macadoo,who totally changes the complexion of the game, was not their. The mid-state Ballerz went 0-4 and are the first team to be eliminated. Starting tommorow one loss and you're gone. Should be fun.
