Rick Clausen enrolling at TENNESSEE

 

This is good news for depth Rick will sit out one year and will have two years of eligibility remaining beginning in 2004! Most recently, Brett Weyman, a high-profile walk-on from Fork Union (Va.) Military Academy, said he would enroll at UT with hopes of winning a scholarship and the backup job this fall.

 

Tennessee is still expected to sign two quarterbacks in the upcoming recruiting season.

 

That would then make way for Jimmy Clausen a ninth-grade prodigy who is already a 6-3 quarterback recently featured in ESPN the Magazine - has attended Vols' games the past three years and has said he plans on playing for Tennessee.

 

The Clausen boys has a sister Katie Clausen, who will be a senior in California, is a volleyball player who is considering the Lady Vols as well
