Mid state coaching vacancies

Please list any mid state basketball (boys or girls) openings that you know of and deadlines for applications.

The Tennessean listed these four openings in Metro

 

Girls: Maplewood, Whites Creek, and Hillsboro

Boys: Maplewood

Metroman are you applying for any of these jobs?

I applied for the Hillsboro girls job. I thought about the Maplewood girls and maybe boys, but I didn't think it would be a good fit for me teaching wise and location wise--too long a drive. Hillsboro would be a pretty good fit for me. We'll just have to see if I am a good fit for them.

 

By the way, did you apply for the Maplewood job?

I'm not interested in Maplewood. It would be a step down for me teaching. I also think they are going to "give" it to someone that is totally undeserving of the opportunity. If they do, you'll know it when you see it. Good luck with your interview at Hillsboro. That looks like a really great job. I hear that Mcgill is trying to get in over there. Interesting, huh?

I saw on the TSSAA website, Page High School is looking for a boys Varsity Basketball Coach. All interested should contact the principal.
