Even though it has gotten a lot of heat from the media, I think the new rule of whoever wins gets to host the World Series is a good one. It will add a lot more competition and make it more fun to watch. Go American League.

I don't really care for the rule too much because the best players will never all be in the all star game. The rule will make it more competitive though. I've always thought that the team with the best regular season record should have it though. I was glad to see that Dontrelle Willis finally got on the roster. I think Frank Thomas should be on there though. I'll be going for Albert and the N.L.

What was up with MLB replacing Zito with Clemons without even telling Zito about it? I think Clemons deserved to be there but Zito should of had some say in it, shouldn't he?

I'm far from what you consider a baseball fan, lost interest several years ago. I usually watch just a few innings of baseball a year, and most of that is usually the World Series. I do think that you should gain homefield by having the most wins, but no question this will add interest to the Allstar game.

I am glad that they added Clemens, but couldn't they do it without dropping a player? I am suprised he wasn't voted in to start with.

In order for a player to be voted in, they had to get along with the fans. You have to have a good player/fan relationship for the people to vote for ya. Clemens dosen't have the fan support to be voted in. I don't like Clemens or the yankees, but that explanation is all I can think of. Go Braves!

Well he's right about you having to be a fan favorite to get voted in but the fans don't get to vote for the pitchers. The managers pick them. The fans only get to vote for the starters.
