I don't really care for the rule too much because the best players will never all be in the all star game. The rule will make it more competitive though. I've always thought that the team with the best regular season record should have it though. I was glad to see that Dontrelle Willis finally got on the roster. I think Frank Thomas should be on there though. I'll be going for Albert and the N.L. B)

I'm far from what you consider a baseball fan, lost interest several years ago. I usually watch just a few innings of baseball a year, and most of that is usually the World Series. I do think that you should gain homefield by having the most wins, but no question this will add interest to the Allstar game.

In order for a player to be voted in, they had to get along with the fans. You have to have a good player/fan relationship for the people to vote for ya. Clemens dosen't have the fan support to be voted in. I don't like Clemens or the yankees, but that explanation is all I can think of. Go Braves! :angry:

      And that needs to go, Charter ,private ,magnet,city and any school that operates differently than pure public schools should be separated. What really needs to be done is address urban and rural. About all the usual powers have access to several kids from other schools period.

      Slightly off topic from a gender standpoint but just observed several boys volleyball games in the Knoxville area for a short spring season. The guys seemed to have a great time. There were several club players on each team but several football, basketball and tennis players involved. Knoxville Catholic, Maryville, Heritage, Knoxville West maybe William Blount had teams. Thanks to Coach Brent Carter from Knoxville Catholic/K2 for getting it together. I’m sure the coaches involved got several laughs trying to coach guys that really had no idea what they were talking about but pretty athletic and competitive. Catholic’s best basketball player told the coach he had played a lot of 2:3 and 1:3:1 but never a 3:3 LOL Maybe it will catch on with some more schools next year.
