Bond
I have seen Macon play they had better step it up if they expect to run with the panthers this week..............and the panthers had better strap it on if Macon does step up because against westmorland they were pumped and i expect to see the same here good luck to both teams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! P.S. You both had better save ur luck for later on this season!!!! Edited September 3, 2003 by Bond

mirrorman
Hey WHHSMac57, how would you compare Portland and Smith County?
tnchad1980
I was at Macon-WHS game last friday night and neither team looked very well to me. I'm an alum of MCHS and my tigers looked a bit rough. But also gived the conditions that the two teams had to play in what more could you really expect? Those boys had been pumped for the game the whole day and then had to wait an extra 2 hours to play a rivalry game of that magnitude? It was very physically and mentally exausting I'm sure! But those Eagles can't stand to loose to Macon in anything,if we had a chess team there'd be controversy over that! I still think Macon over P'land by 6. GO BIG BLUE!!! WHHSMac57
Hey WHHSMac57, how would you compare Portland and Smith County? Well, we had Smith County in a scrimmage, and they don't hate us like Portland does, so I guess Portland would have to had looked better. So this is kind of unfair to begin with, but Smith County was physical, and we had a real hard fought contest. I don't remember the score, but it was close, may have been a tie. Our defense was given a lot of fits by Portland that wasn't near as bad against Smith, but then again, our offense didn't move the ball the way we did against Portland in that scrimmage either, so it evens out. They are both good teams, and should have great seasons
