Personally I think Kate Hughes and Molly Turner could be two of the best players in the state. Kate being one of the best offensively. She is one of the most atheletic girls in the state. She is fast aggresive and not scared to get in the mix. Molly has an amazing leg. She is fast and smart. She knows where to be and when. In the Franklin game the keeper was out of position on 2 shots and Molly came through and made the play. These two girls could be some of the best players in the state.

In the case of the 1st goal, the FHS keeper was not out of position as she faced a booming shot on a breakaway to the top left of the net. That was a great shot by Kate Hughes that few, if any, keepers could have touched, much less stopped. On the second Bruin goal, the FHS keeper was again not out of position, but was blocked from getting to the ball by one of her own players. A second Bruin player rebounded the ball into the net.

As for best players in the state, Franklin has a number of players who could be considered in that category and FHS has all but three starters returning next year. Starters returning include:

Sarah Perrigan - Sweeper - Jr.

Jordan LeFan - Midfield - Jr.

Monica Dunham - Forward - So.

Sarah Defatta - Fullback - So.

Gabbie Mayer - Fullback - So.

Taryn Holland - Keeper - So.

Kacie Horner - Forward - Fr.

Halie Proffitt - Midfield - Fr.

The key will be that they have all of the defense coming back, including Taryn Holland, the keeper, who started in that position both as a Freshman and Sophomore.

Franklin should be in good position to continue making their runs to the State Tournament.

Sorry hoss I was talking about BHS's goal keeper not yalls. Wow you need to learn how to read. Cause I was talking about Molly saving 2 shots taken by Franklin. Nice try though. Thanks next time you have another intellegent comment tell me. Thanks. I can see how you could mistake what I wrote so I do appologize but you don't have to be a jerk about it.

I read both posts, it was an honest mistake, I can see how they would come to that conclusion b/c your post wasnt very clear. About being a jerk though, I didn't notice any real resentment in their post, you are the only one who has gotten bent out of shape, which is understandable, you guys lost and your season is over now. As to "intellegent" comment(s), i usuallyspell it i-n-t-e-l-l-i-g-e-n-t, but maybe you can use all e's. basically all im saying is this...those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones...if you want an explanation for that, let me know.

Drewski, Tiger68 was not being rude in anyway. That person miss read what you said the same way i did the first time i read it and was stating about the Franklin keeper. Honest mistake. Those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.......... perfect saying for this situation. Think before you speak next time Drewski, you might actually stop yourself from becoming a jerk. no offense of course.

personally i have never seen a glass house but i can guarantee you that iif i were to come across this spectacle, i would throw a stone at it just to see if they were smart and used bulletproof glass... or that glass in high school doors which won't shatter if it is broken. come to think of it, ill bet those people in the glass aren't very modest, i mean, at some point youd hae to be naked and if theyre attractive at all you know people will be chilling in their yard to check out the show.
