West Tennessee Sports?

Is everyone on this website from east and middle tenn or something? West tn are hardly ever picked to win games against teams from middle and east. And dont say its because they have better teams

KRP - I don't understand why that is either. It happens in wrestling too, although I have seen some really good wrestling teams from the Memphis area. Maybe it's because we just don't know that much about the western teams. I don't think it is meant to be a slam, we just don't have enough info to make a decision.

The other posters have said it well. We need more faithful posters from the western part of the state who love high school sports. The best solution is to tell your friends and neighbors about CoachT.com and that you need some help promoting your teams!

 

While you are at it, consider paying the $12 for a Plus membership. You get access to all sports boards year round and access to some extra special Plus member boards where a bunch of folks like JustWrestle and I hang out. Believe me, you would be amazed to find out how much fun you are missing!

I suspect that it's lack of media coverage. The coacht home page has links to most news papers state wide. Surf those, and I think we could be more up-to-speed, from Mountain City to Memphis.

hey Krp, am I mistaken or did Ridgeway beat an eastern team in Fulton last year in the State Championship and didn't Briarcrest win state also, or how about Bishop Byrne? Man, I think that's three western teams right there who beat middle or eastern teams last year in the title game.

Where is West Tennessee???

Just like GoBigRed said, get more of the folks from West TN area to join CoachT and we will get to know more about what is going on down that way. Man, there's nothing we like better anyway than a good competition . Also, you get to go to ALL of the boards all year long and not just during season.

There are some good teams over there in West Tn. But most of the teams have too easy of a schedule overall. Two or three tough games and that is it. Try some of these schedules in Mid-Tn. week in and week out. The last two years Crockett Co. has been tough but Their opponents composite won-loss record was abot 33 wins vs. 67 losses. It's hard to stack that up against the MIDDLE. By the way please check strength of schedules. I never see where they play hardly any private schools.
