Nope....just wishful thinking, however, I think that it (shotclock) might help in some of the slow play that we see sometimes or those region games we saw last year where the score was 7-5 final.

You must be on the s--- list to draw a 7-5 match up.

High school basketball is just fine without a shot clock.

I would be all for a shot clock in high school. The only drawback that I see is that most high school gyms would need a new score board, and they aren't cheap.

I am all for a shot clock! It would stop teams mostly girls games where they hold the ball for ever to hold down scores in an attemp to win. I think to make it a little more fair for HS play would be to make the shot clock a minute or two long.

Personally, I don't care for the shot clock. And I don't know how well it would work in some of the smaller more-cramped gyms. Placement of the shot-clock might be a problem.

 

If the TSSAA does go to a shot clock I would like to see it around 60 seconds. That would allow the patient teams time to work for a shot while doing away with an outright stall.

I would be for a shot clock. I just can't stand it when they're stalling. But like some others, I think it should be about a minute long for high school.
