Yeah, it involves some wiggling of the enrollment cut off numbers. Don't think that has been decided either. At any rate, say the cut off now is what 500? They could move 1a enrollment to max of 600 students. That would move those schools down in class. Hey Gibson, hows the Knee? Working it in P.T.? Good luck, life is full of tough breaks, hate to see it for anybody.

Might be Ok for those dropping down from 2aa but for the smaller schools it is murder. It's kinda like pick your poison, compete against a private with the major recruiting they do, or play schools twice and some time three times bigger than you that has a larger talent pool. Best is to leave it as it is, kick the privates to their own division completely and then line up, strap'em on and go at it. Sometimes it's like MTSU playing UT or UT playing NOTRE Dame, either you're never equal or you are sometimes.

The three different proposals I have in hand, Wartburg would be Class A with 5 classes (all public schools) in football and they would be in Region 2A with Harriman, Rockwood, Oneida, Sunbright, Coalfield and Oakdale. With 4 classes (all public), Wartburg would be Class AA in Region 4AA with Scott County, Harriman and Oliver Springs. In using a 2.0 and .8 multiplier formula (2 for non-public schools and .8 for rural schools), Wartburg would be Class A in Region 1A with Oakdale, Coalfield, Sunbright, Cloudland, Jellico, Oneida, North Greene and Cosby. Hope this helps you out Gibson. By the way, when will you be able to start running again?
