Man, I ran 7 secs. slower than last year.. I wish the guys were still here cause we would own this state..

Adam, the guy who won...............it was not his first time to break 17:00. He only ran 17:00 at Classic but he was in the 15's last year too!

The Optimist winner seems to have quite a story. It appears that he hasn't run much this season because of very low iron in his blood. It's good to see someone make it back from illness in time for the big races (region/state) and do a great job. It should encourage others who have been fighting illness or injury that the season isn't lost yet.
