Brentwood Academy 33, Baylor 11

According to the scoreboard BA beat Baylor 33-11...anyone know any details regarding the game?

Pretty good game-much closer than the score indicates. It wqas 19-11 and Baylor fumbled early in the 4th and BA went down and scored. I think Baylor had 4 or 5 fumbles. From what I saw tonight, MBA is better than BA although I do not think Townsend played.

BA didn't show much life in this game. Tyree Ford got

the start at tailback and had a pretty good night. The

defense let Baylor move the ball much too easily. Baylor

had a number of crucial turnovers. The game was much

closer than the score indicates.

 

BA needs to be much better prepared for MBA.

Townsend not playing partially explains the results, but I'm disappointed we weren't more dominant. Congrats to the Eagles on improving to 8-1, though.

Townsend has a cast on his arm. I have not

heard whether he will play again this year.

Isn't Tyree Ford just a freshman?

Yes he is...he was the HVAC (Nashville-area Middle School league) 100- and 200-meter track champion last year. He is extremely speedy and has some impressive moves.

Ty Ford is a Freshman. The other member of

the freshman running back duo, Ryan White,

left the game after the opening kick off. It appeared

to be a separated shoulder.

Theo should be back next week for MBA, and I don't think this thread has given BA enough credit, they were in a tough spot tonight playing on the road against a bitter team, with tons of talent, pinned against the wall, and on top of that they were shorthanded not having theo, or terrell murphy both teams played very hard tonight and now throw everything you know out the window it's BA-MBA time.

Hate to see another loss for Baylor. Good luck to BA against MBA though! Always pullin for the underdog!

braswell was back for baylor and ran the ball very hard. true, the ba defense gave up way too many yards, but the bottom line is they held on the goaline and only gave up 11 points. baylor put their whole season into this game because if they won, they're in the playoffs. ba did what they had to do, and won the game. missing a starting d-lineman and starting tailback, and still winning 39-11. i think thats good enough. theo WILL be back next week against MBA even though the game truely doesn't mean much will the playoffs starting the next week and the seedings are already set. it will still be the best game of the regular season. overall, good game by ba
