keep us region 8 folks posted, All We know is that Haywood Travels to Melrose

Haywood beat Munford 20-19 on a last minute score and PAT.

Forget what I said about O.T. Hardin County kicks a FG with no time left on the clock to win 22-19. Dyersburg announcers were not happy with the officials. Im not sure what happened but Hardin County got a field goal attempt after time had expired. Ill try to figure out what happened and let you know.

 

bottom line is Hardin County defeats Dyersburg 22-19

 

Okay...Hardin County missed a field goal as the game ended but Dyersburg was called for roughing the kicker.....they made the 2nd attempt after marking off the penalty.

If Ridgeway is anywhere close to the team they were last year, JCM will be the only team from region 7 playing in week 12.

Apparently Hardin Co. tried a field goal and it missed but Dyersburg was called for roughing the kicker and they had an 11 minute delay while the officials and coaches sorted out the penalty.Hardin Co. was given another chance and made this one.This is the info I got off 97.7 out of Trenton.

That`s right. Hardin County attempted a 46 yard FG at the end of the game and missed. The roughing the kicker penalty was called and which gave Hardin County a 31 yard attempt with no time left on the clock. There was an extremely long interval between the kicks.

Was the call legit?I mean why so long an interval in between?
