Houston County info

Since I am reading all the stuff on the Marion County info thread I thought it would be nice to hear some things about the Fighting Irish. By looking at their record they have been playing good ball the last 6 weeks. Played all the tough teams early and finally got to the easier games. Exactly how Marion County did. Both teams seem to be on a roll right now. Should be a very exciting game.

 

What type of offense and defense do they run?

Who are the top players on the team?

What are their weaknesses and strengths?

Hc is really on a roll....The harde schedule wasn't the problem early it was we had just gotton a new coach and had some wrinkles that were't ironed out quite yet..HC runs the I and our top player is trey mitchell (reciever/ safety)

I've heard HC and MC are pretty evenly matched, but MC's home record gives them a sort of an edge...They always seem to play better at home. We'll see though

It's hard to make a prediction on this game, it's going to go to who plays the hardest and makes the least mistakes. I am going to go with the Warriors in this one of course though. Houston county will know when they reach Warrior country. Purple and White will be everywhere.

Yeah, this game is going to come down to whomever has the fewest turnovers, and whomever has the ball in the last minutes of the game. We'll see what happens. Jacob has a mullet.

Marion will have to play their A game to have a chance of winning against you guys.

I'm looking forward to watching Houston Co play. I attended school there

in the early 70's. I know there will be parents in the stands that were class

mates. My brother played for Houston Co. 70,71,72. It will be great to

see the green and white of the fighting irish again!!

Marion County lost 4 games in the season....Page, Tyner, Whitwell, and South Pittsburg. Page, Tyner, and South Pittsburg haven't lost a game after they have faced Marion, but Whitwell has lost a couple though. We all know how well Marion has played at home this year so it might make for an interesting game.
