i agree with ttajwb that jonathon ballew is a very good basketball player, if he played he would definitely get minutes on varsity, supposedly the only reason he doesnt play is because he isnot too fond of the coach at temple

Not that this means much much but seth dominated boyds middle school team last year- the whole team did. So in a few years if they gain in numbers and get stronger wit a weight program temple could hang with some tough teams. And for basketball, nobody will be any competition when seths class becomes seniors.

seth didnt play middle school last year! boyds ms team beat temple by 20 somethin and won the isc championship and temple came in 3rd. boyd beat l.v. in the championship game who they beat by 21. temple talks about josh smith and joey shiraff well they didnt do anything against boyd.

If Jonathon ballew would play basketball, he would be the dominate freshman in Chatt. He won't play though cause hes focusing on football, where hes a dominating safety. I've seen him beat seth skogen in one-on-one!!!!!!1--- no joke.

Smitty77 was talking about Middle School football (who won the ISC Championship and who had Seth on the team) -- and "yes" Temple will have one of the best basketball teams in the state when Seth Skogan, Josh Smith, Dee Newsome, and Joey Shiraef are seniors. They'll also have another Skogen and Wadley playing varsity when that time rolls around. Things will be lookin' good for the Crusaders in the next couple of years or so. Not that there all that bad right now -- but this is definitely a year to build on.

If he dominated Boyd then how come it was 20-0 at halftime. The only reason they beat us was because we had alot of people injured and had to put people back at tailback that had never played there before. He probably didn't have over 100 yards against us. The final score was only 26-20, WOW what a dominated game with about 5 of boyds starters out!

yes that will be a pretty good team but the boyd buchanan team should also be very good in 2 years, their sophmore and freshman classes are really good, if there big men keep growing they will be a very fun team to watch in the future.
