helton played well he was very sick he had 23

hayes had 15

and giles had 11

simms only had 6 but was limited because of an injury early in the first quarter

 

 

overall the bears played okay but we expect great things out of them this year

Well as a student and fan of hchs basketball i was truly appreciative with being able to witness a performance like i did in this game. Josh Helton for Mt. Juliet played the best game that i've seen an high school athlete play against henry county in the past three years. He took control of the game for mt. juliet. He was constantly hittin shots with guys hands all in his face. I had the chance to speak to his dad after the game, and he said that his son was looking to get some more scholarships around this area. He had a couple but they were all off the coast. This kid has a chance to be a GREAT player..b/c he had great awareness on the court. When he left in the 4th quarter many of the henry county fans stood and clapped for him. I wish henry county and Mt. Juliet a good rest of the year..and as for Helton i hope you continue to play great basketball. Good Luck with the scholarships.
